2 and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and of your grandson how I have dealt harshly with the Egyptians and what signs I have done among them, that you may know that I am the Lord.” (Ex 7:17; Ex 13:8; Ex 13:14; De 4:9; De 6:20; Ps 78:5; Joe 1:3)

New International Version

2 that you may tell your children and grandchildren how I dealt harshly with the Egyptians and how I performed my signs among them, and that you may know that I am the Lord.’

2 Then you will be able to tell your children and grandchildren how hard I was on the Egyptians. You can tell them I performed my signs among the people of Egypt. And all of you will know that I am the LORD.’

2 And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son' son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.
